iPad Comes to AT&T and Verizon Retail Stores

Last week, it was announced that both Verizon and AT&T will begin selling the iPad in their respective retails stores, beginning next Thursday, October 28, 2010.

So what does this mean?  Well, it means that there will be 4,000 new stores across the country in which people can purchase an iPad, which can’t do anything but increase sales.

Could this mean that Verizon will begin selling the iPhone in early 2011 as has been reported?  As Lee Corso says, "Not so fast, my friend."  There have been rumors for several years now of Verizon "finally" getting the iPhone, but I won’t believe it until I see it for myself.

I heard rumors that it will come to Verizon by January of next year. I think that will solve AT&T’s network problems and increase Verizon’s, due to the increase of data traffic that results from iPhone usage.
