Today, I am giving two presentations at "Hot Tips for the Solo or Small Firm Practitioner" in Columbia, SC. This is the first year that the South Carolina Bar has presented this particular seminar, but I believe that it will quickly become very popular a popular annual event. The lineup of speakers is a veritable "who’s who" of successful attorneys from all across South Carolina, and I am flattered to be included in this prestigious faculty.
My presentations are titled "Using DropBox as Your Office Server" and "Benefits of Using Web-Based Case Management Programs". I use both DropBox and Rocket Matter in my practice, and I hope that the attendees will see the many ways that these types of technology can help them run their law practices more efficiently and effectively – just as I do in mine. I would like to again thank the South Carolina Bar and the seminar coordinator, Ken Lester, for asking me to speak at the inaugural version of this seminar.
Could you post your presentation materials for all of us to enjoy?
I’m a Medical Paralegal and I’d love to see the presentation materials! I’m interested in learning more about Dropbox – I use at home but I would like to set it up so that I can exchange client medical records with attorneys I work with rather than exchanging CD’s. I’d also like to know if there any ethical considerations with Dropbox that I need to be aware of. Thanks! KJ
